A slightly different area is the chemical additives business unit that supplies specialty additives to serve a variety of paint/coating and latex rubber formulators` needs. Treatment programs
The selection of treatment programs, products and control technique is determined by a complete study of the system involved and is characterized by three distinct phases:
1.Plant survey :
To define the problem, a complete survey is performed. This survey permits the preparation of a comprehensive proposal that includes recommendations for proper chemical treatment, point of chemical addition, engineering evaluation, tests and controls.
2.Program selection :
The specific chemical water analysis and treatment programs recommended are designed to give optimum system results. In addition, plant personnel are thoroughly instructed on treatment application, analytical testing, test results interpretation and treatment program adjustments.
3.Control :
The key of effectiveness of any treatment program is control. Drew maintains a staff of technical consultants in the field, with local and home office technical support to maximize program performance.
